QAS points in map, hiding spots. Some to unlock. There will be guards, outer rim cadets. And security cameras.

When coming across a locked door, you're going to need to pick the lock. Picking the lock can be rather easy to being very difficult. When you're picking a lock, there is going to be a diagram that shows five color lines and up to 5 pins. In order they will be lettered alphabetically from left to right. To unlock a locked door, you will need to match up a specific pin to a specific color line. For Example: Perhaps Pin A would be correct at the red line.

You would clarify that when pick locking, and the door would unlock. If you guessed wrong, the door would not open. However, if you guess one line right, the DM will let you know as you will have a set number of more chances to choose the following line to open the lock (depending on your level to the lock). It is up to you to guess what the combination is. However, the higher your understanding, the easier this is. If your understanding is higher than the level of the lock, you will not need to go through this process. You will automatically unlock the door. However, if your understanding is the same or below the lock, you will have to go through this process of unlocking. A successful lock picking will net you a small amount of Understanding.

While picking a color line for a pin, you may get a prompt which may signal if you are getting closer if you get it wrong. Or if you're getting too far from the correct line.

They would chance upon the security systems of this entire academy as evidenced through the entire set of screens viewing through the eyes of the cameras. There was, of course, a terminal that could be accessed with a little bit of trickery...

With a few keys and a clicks there, the intruder managed to get inside the security systems. Through it they managed to pull up an entire map of the current floor. Nearby would be an office with a computer and printer system that handled identification cards. On the other hand, there are stairs that would lead up to the Prince's private offices. Through the computer, the Jest can find that there are functions turning off both security cameras and the motion detectors...
