cuz what P5 does is make the fights always go as weakness abusing stomps
and punishes you for not being able to do it when possible
but for fights where that's not possible
it gives general attacks that are threatening, but not overwhelming
like Anubis in Futaba's dungeon
it only really uses Dark/Light damage moves, which by that point nobody in your party should be weak to

the starting dungeon is a lot harsher when it comes to this
and makes it a waaaaaaay bigger focus
like the Archangel enemies are only weak to Zio
and if you're unable to hit it they fuck you up, bad
imo since this is a site and not a game where you can look up a walkthrough you always need to give leeway for Analysis to happen when an enemy first shows up

they don't just hit hard, though
like they can do different shit
some enemies buff other enemies, or block weaknesses
or use ailments
but the general gist is that you counter it by downing them
and if you can't, the enemy generally won't be immediately threatening or useful in just a single turn
they certainly can be over time, because they consume resources more so than other enemies

to let us have the chance to learn their weaknesses
then using them later in the dungeon in their proper forms and with more synergistic team compositions
